Wedding Venue Breckenhill barn now has a wedding licence for civil marriages. Many people are now choosing to have a smaller wedding in an unusual or private venue. The barn, and its surroundings, are an ideal, secluded and intimate place for a romantic wedding. The conference room seats up to 80, and can also be used for the reception, seating guests at either round or rectangular tables. You can have your champagne reception downstairs, or in good weather, in the garden or marquee alongside the barn.
Photographs can be taken around the attractive Georgian house and garden. In inclement weather, for a small additional fee, the interior of the house may also be used for wedding party photographs.
Photograph by John Taggart You can choose to organise your own food, or caterers, or we can arrange catering on your behalf with one of our preferred caterers. The downstairs room also makes a great dancing space so the party can carry on, with your choice of band or DJ. There is a disabled toilet and easy wheelchair access to the downstairs area but not to the upstairs room. We do not have a alcohol licence, but can organise a pay bar, or you can provide your own drinks. We charge a small corkage fee on wine and champagne and normally a set cost for other drinks. The cost of hiring the barn depends on your requirements, so please contact us for further information.
